Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Perfomint collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what choices you have. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect

There are only two ways we receive information from you:

  • Information you send us. When you submit the contact form or request a report from one of our free tools, we store the name, email address, company, budget range and message you provide.
  • Basic usage analytics. We record which pages are viewed, the referring site, and a coarse device type. We do not store your IP address — it is hashed with a secret before it ever reaches our database, and the hash cannot be reversed back to an address.

What we do not do

  • We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
  • We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
  • We do not build advertising profiles from your behaviour on this site.

Why we collect it

Enquiry details are used to reply to you and to manage the resulting conversation. Analytics are used to understand which pages are useful so we can improve them. That is the complete list of purposes.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers to run this site: a hosting provider, a database provider, and an email delivery provider. They process data only on our instruction. We do not share your information with anyone else unless we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained for up to 24 months so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Aggregate analytics are retained for 12 months. You can ask us to delete your record sooner at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@perfomint.com and we will action the request within 30 days.

Security

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored in an access-controlled database. Administrative access to that data requires an allowlisted account with two-factor authentication.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. We do not make retroactive changes to how already-collected data is used.
