The challenge
Verde was spending well and acquiring poorly. Cost per acquisition had climbed for three straight quarters and the instinct in the room was to cut budget.
What we did
- Audited the full path from ad to checkout and found a four-step form doing most of the damage
- Rebuilt checkout as a two-step flow with guest purchase enabled by default
- Matched ad creative to landing page copy so the message did not reset on arrival
- Set up a weekly review cadence with a single shared dashboard
The outcome
Acquisition cost fell by more than a third on unchanged spend, and the weekly cadence caught two further regressions before they compounded.
“We were about to cut the budget in half. Turned out the budget was never the problem.”
